The world is warming up to Open Educational Resources (OER) as a means of advancing the world’s educational standard. The Nigerian University System Open Education Resources (NUSOER) launched on August 21, 2017 by the National Universities Commission (NUC) is to serve as repository for all open education resources held by all universities in Nigeria. The NUC has therefore directed that all Nigerian universities should be ranked by the strength of their online Educational Resources (OER).
The University therefore needs to urgently address the gap in preparation for the next ranking and beyond. All hands must be on deck.
This workshop equips participants with better understanding of OER, the licensing options and how to use them, update on status of OER in the University of Ibadan and some practical sessions on preparing OER resources. There will be a short Quiz and interactive session
Digital certificates will be issued to successful participants.
Please complete the form at https://www.ui.edu.ng/open-educational-resources-sensitization-seminar-registration-form by Monday 28 May 2018 as spaces are limited.
