PROF. OLATUNJI OYESHILE, FORMER DEAN OF THE FACULTY OF ART, HAS BEEN NOMINATED TO PRESENT THE 2025 ANNUAL PUBLIC LECTURE ON UNESCO WORLD PHILOSOPHY DAY

Prof. Olatunji Oyeshile, former Dean of the Faculty of Art, has been nominated to present the 2025 annual public lecture on UNESCO World Philosophy Day, November 20, 2025, at Wageningen University, the Netherlands. Prof. Oyeshile’s public lecture is entitled “Human and cultural diversities and the reconciliation of the self with the other”. The lecture is part of the course “African Philosophy” at Wageningen University and is open to students and colleagues across the globe. The lecture will take place at Wageningen Campus on November 20, at 10:30 - 12:00 hrs (CET; UTC+1:00) and will be livestreamed at various partnering universities in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.
