The University of Ibadan hereby notify all candidates who scored fifty percent (50%) and above at the Monday, 9 July, 2012 Post-UTME exercise and whose scores are lower than the ‘Minimum % (1st Batch)’ in Post-UTME score for their Most Preferred / Screened Course as displayed on Table 1, to fill a ‘change of course/fall back into available positions.ClickHere for Fallback Application

For example, Dentistry has a ‘minimum % (1st Batch)’ score of 64, candidates whose scores are 64 and above who were not shortlisted into Dentistry DO NOT need to comply with this request. They will be on the next list for Dentistry. However, all candidates with lower scores (less than 64) are strongly advised and MUST fill a ‘change of course’ / ‘fall-back’ into available spaces in the advertised courses listed on Table 2.

While completing their requests, candidates are expected to study carefully the subject combination of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination subjects and the Ordinary Level requirements of the courses they are changing to so as to avoid the problem of wrong subject combination / matriculating requirements, which may lead to automatic disqualification. These two criteria (UTME and ‘O’ Level requirements) must be met before candidates can be considered.

Candidates, who did not participate in the Post-UTME exercise of Monday, 9 July, 2012 are not eligible.
