Candidates must possess higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology and allied discipline), with not less than twelve (12) years cognate experience. Membership of relevant professional bodies like CPN/COREN will be an added advantage.
Duties:
• Oversees the activities of the Information Technology service in the University.
• Coordinates the activities of all the IT departments.
• Ensures performance goals are set and met.
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures required for the improvement or modification of existing Unit programs and the implementation of new programs.
• Advises the Vice-Chancellor/IT Board on IT-related issues.
Salary: CONTISS 15 (N2, 875,791.00)
