PROFESSOR KUNBI OLASOPE NOMINATED TO BE INDUCTED AS A MEMBER OF THE NIGERIAN ACADEMY OF LETTERS (NAL).

Professor Kunbi Olasope of the Department of Classics, University of Ibadan has been nominated to be inducted as a member of the Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL). The Nigerian Academy of Letters is the highest association of scholars in the humanities. Membership is made up of scholars within and outside Nigeria. A member of NAL is a new entrant into the Nigerian Academy of Letters. After some years the member can apply to be a Fellow of the Academy.

Professor Olasope is the current Head, Department of Classics, University of Ibadan who has published widely in Journals in Classics, African Studies and African Literature.

This year's induction of members will take place at J.F. AdeAjayi Auditorium, University of Lagos on 11 August,2022. After induction, Professor Olasope will thereafter add MNAL after her name
